During the week of - - I contacted BMW Financial Services to process a payment for -. I was out of the - and unable to connect to the internet to process it online. I requested that the representative ( I believe his name was - but can not recall ) activate - since I am currently traveling out of the - for work. He explained that I could do it online but I specified that I did not have access to the web. He confirmed my bank account was on file with BMWFS and that he could take care of it. Today I received a call from BMWFS stating that they have yet to receive a payment for - and that my credit had been affected. I told them to draft it immediately. I stated that I had previously spoken with someone about this and they directed me to their credit dispute department because they could find no records or notes that anyone every spoke to me. After holding for about 30 minutes the call then disconnected without being able to speak to anyone. I 've yet to be able to get in touch with anyone to even speak
had a late payment with BMWFS and am extremely irate that their mistake will put a blemish on my credit report. I request that they remove this immediately. I do not believe their credit dispute process is handled with the customers best interest. I will be visiting my nearest -, writing to the OCC, and the FTC about this as matter as well. Not to mention that when I purchased the vehicle I was told that I could only buy - insurance at the time of purchase ( when I knew that was incorrect ) and the APR was not stated to me until I asked for it all while I was being asked to sign documentation with out first seeing the rate first.
