Closing/Cancelling account Colorado
I applied for and was issued a credit card from USAA. I attempted to login to my online account and was unable to do so. I contacted USAA by phone and was informed that my account had been canceled. I was given no reason as to why it was canceled. I also received a letter from - stating that they were adding a " Fraudulent Application '' note to my credit report that was instigated by USAA. I disputed the Fraudulent Application note and, after investigating the Fraudulent Application claim, it was unfounded and removed from my credit report. Legally, I should have been notified in writing within 60 days of USAA canceling my account with the reason for the account cancellation, I never received such notice.
