I had a - - card, and when - ended its affiliation with - they transferred the accounts to -. I never wanted the new - account, and never activated the card that was sent to me. I contacted - to cancel the account. They could n't help me. I contacted - to try to cancel the account - they informed me that I needed to work with the issuing bank. BarclayCard began placing recurring charges transferred over from my - account each month, even though they were never authorized to do so. More than two months ago I called the credit card company and cancelled the account - although I should not had had to do this, since I never activated the account in the first place. BarclayCard / - completely ignored this and continues to place charges and late fees on the account.
