Amex Credit card department,
Advertising and marketing North Carolina
This is a follow up to complaint # - The company, American Express, has sent a letter to try and explain the situation. The letter was erroneous and condescending. It did not address the main issue of misleading advertising for their credit card product. I have attached their letter. They reference disclosure number - for the - - -, but on their advertising brochure, reference - is not even on the same page as the - - - benefit. Furthermore, the company American Express uses to process credit card applications, was also mislead by their advertising brochure, as they are the ones who initiated an investigation. In addition, the American Express - dept has blocked my email address from reaching all - domain names. This is an incredible act of power over the consumer. Either they take customer concerns seriously or not ... ... to basically turn off my free speech by blocking my email address is unprecedented.
