When I was young in the - just starting out in - I bought a car using Consumer Portfolio 's as the vehicle loan owners. Not shortly after buying the car from a shady car dealership I was in an accident. The car was totaled. I arranged for the insurance company to look at the car after I came back from a shorty underway on our ship. I returned to my car being gone and I was told by the towing company that the dealership picked it up. I called the dealership and asked for it back because I wanted the insurance company to look at it and be able to pay it off. They said that it was given to CPS and that they did n't have it anymore. The dealership laughed and laughed while I was on the phone begging them for the car back so I did n't get stuck with a loan and no car. I contacted CPS and they stated they never had the car and that I did n't have insurance. I stated that was n't true I made payments to geico that was set up through the dealership. They stated there was nothing


n't seen or had. They could n't tell me what happened to the car. After years of dealing with this company they finally pull a story out of no where about the car and how it was all my fault. The dealership was shut down and no one there to give me answers. They harass me and try to get my address over and over and threaten to take me to court or take my taxes. They continue to report this on my credit even though its well past six years and they no there records are wrong. How does my amount of how much I owe them continue to go up. I get calls late at night sometimes from a weird number and answer and its them. I 've spent all of my - career trying to fix this issue, as I know they took the car so the insurance company could n't do a pay off and if indeed my insurance was n't paid for I know this company worked hand and hand with the car dealership - to do this to me.
