I received a notice from dbt solutions saying I owed on an old - bill. I called them and they told me that I never returned - equipment. I told them that my mother did bring package to - and that she still had the proof. Thy told me to send the proof in. My mother faxed over the receipt and a letter telling them that she personally brought the package containing the equipment to - for me and had gotten the receipt. she even wrote on the receipt when it was received by the company who handles the equipment for -. It does not go back to - but the company I guess who manufactures the equipment for -. It was received on -/-/- by a - -. In 2014 she had checked the tracking on line to make sure it was received. Good thing she kept the receipt. She also stated in the letter to dbt solutions that this should never even been put on my credit report in the first place. She told them I wanted it removed from the - credit bureaus because it was - error and this was cleared up 2 yrs. ago.. - would not even talk to me about it because they said this was a old closed account and sold to dbt soultions. This was done over - months ago. As of this date it is still showing up on my credit as - balance but still showing as collection account. This had lowered my score by - points and caused me to loose out on getting a mortgage at that time. I am still trying to get a mortgage to buy a house for my growing family as we are - next month. I want this removed from my - credit reports ASAP. They told me it would be but they never followed through. This has been a nightmare.
