Vehicle loan Problems when you are unable to pay Illinois

In - 2015 the fiance company TD auto repossessed my car by mistake it was awful not to say embrassed the tow truck came started taking my car when I told him it was a mistake that I was protected by Bankruptcy law and refused to believe me and called the police my neighbors were woken up. The next morning called the fiance company the person to whom I spoke with was rude and would not listen to me cold not go to work for 2 days lost pay and not to say I was embrassed after many phone calls finally someone told me it was a mistake and sent me a letter of aplogy and the tow driver brought my car back in the night will repo stickers still on. I think they should at least do something for the money I lost and the anxiety I went thur. Thank you for listening
