My husband and I were going through the motions to refinance. We got our credit pulled and mine dropped from high - 's to mid - 's. I 've done nothing different so we looked into it deeper. There is a collection on my report from a company I have named -. I called them and they told me there is an account from - - opened in my name back in 2014. I have never had a century link account so that obviously is not me. I asked them to validate the debt and they ca n't for reasons that did n't make sense. I sent their identity theft department and email and have heard nothing back. I need help to validate this debt and restore my credit to it 's proper place.
