Citibank Credit card department,
I had a Citibank credit card from the time I started my - - program in the year -. I paid it every month during the grace period, with the occasional exception generating interest. Sometime in - to - my limit had reached - dollars. I tried to use it one day and it was declined, and I called and they said they were no longer offering that service to me. Then he asked me how I would like to pay my remaining balance. I told him I did not, and got off the phone. Though I had never paid through automatic payments, he then set up an automatic minimum payment each month without my permission. My bank activity became hectic with lots of autowithdrawals for bills and services, and this autopayment was not clearly named. It was not until - when I closed that bank account that I noticed a - something autopay that did little or nothing to pay more than interest. Over a period of more than 6 years, they had stolen around - dollars from my account. Additionally, someone had changed the password and security questions on my account. I can no longer access any account information.
