Hi, I am a Delta Sky Miles member and I received a promotion on - - by American Express through Delta Airlines newsletter, according to which : - I would get - ( instead of - ) bonus miles after spending $1000.00 in three months ; - and - miles ( instead of - ) for each dollar spent with Delta ; if I would have applied to Gold Delta Sky Miles American Express card by - -. Therefore, on - - I applied and was approved for the credit card, but now American Express is not applying the promotion to my account. They are currently saying that I can not get the promotion anymore because I did n't click on the 'Apply Now ' within the promotional email. However, nowhere in the email they say that I have to apply through the email, because in any case both the email and the application are linked to my Sky Miles number. They first said that I should have spoken to Delta, but Delta is saying that the promotion is from American Express. Ultimately, the American Express representative said that she would have raised an inquiry and it would take between 6 and 8 months to get an answer, and of course in the meantime the 3 months period will pass by. I do n't feel treated fairly at since they are not honoring anymore a promotion I received from them and for which I applied by the deadline.
