To Whom It May Concern : I have been a customer of Citi Bank since 2012 and have always paid my balance in full each month except for when I have a 0 % balance transfer offer. I was recently surprised to see various interest charges on my account. I now understand that since the balance was technically not paid in " full '' ( due to the 0 % balance transfer amount ) my account accrued interest on standard purchases. I feel this behavior is a UDAAP violation. The 0 % balance transfer is not beneficial to the consumer if Citi Bank just allocates the interest to standard purchases each month. The proper information about the balance transfer was not disclosed and - different customer service representatives gave me conflicting information. Accordingly, I plan to pay off the entire balance including the balance transfer immediately. I would like the balance transfer fees ( - - in the amount of $210.00 ) credited to my account. Best,
