Synchrony Financial Credit card department,
Credit determination West Virginia
I have - accounts that are serviced by Synchrony Bank ( formerly GE Credit ). They are Old Navy, Amazon, and Lowes. Last month I received - separate letters from Synchrony indicating that " sometimes we check the credit of our customers '' and then proceeded to lower my available credit on each card. - weeks after they lowered the credit on the third card I receive a document from Synchrony indicating their " Privacy Policy. '' In the document they tell me that I can limit their sharing of my information about my creditworthiness. The problem is they already shared my information because they handle all three accounts. Is that not deceptive or illegal?
