JPMorgan Chase & Co. Credit card department,
I was coerced into applying for a credit card with a larger balance at a Chase bank location, advising because I had a great credit score and debt to income ratio with little to no credit card debt, I would be approved. After waiting for several days, I called in and was told I was denied due to too many accounts opened in the last year. When I asked for more detail as that is counter to what I was advised, they refused. I then asked if I was getting a hard hit on my credit report for their mistake/mis-communication, she said yes. I was lied to and am now dealing with the repercussions.
