In late - 2016, I paid off a 401K loan with the goal of applying for a new loan to purchase my - home. I made several calls to - - before requesting the loan to ensure the new loan disbursement would be available in time for me to make my -/-/- car payment prior to the 30 day past due mark. Unfortunately this did not happen despite me taking every precaution. Once I realized I could not make the payment timely, I made a payment arrangement online at NissanFinance.com to make payment by -/-/-. The money was n't deposited to my account until -/-/- ( 3 days later ) when I promptly made payment. I also contacted NMAC by phone asking if there was anyone I could avoid late/derogatory reporting to the credit bureaus and was told that a report had already been sent & there may not be anything she could do to adjust.
removed. To my shock, on -/-/- the -/-/- payment has now been reported as 30 days past due again. I 'm requesting that this reporting be adjusted in light of the prior removal. I did attempt to resolve by phone on -/-/- but the associate I spoke to simply denied it was ever adjusted back on -/-/- & would not assist. Although I acknowledge the issue with my payment was entirely my fault and not NMAC, I am asking that they adjust this single late payment since the loan was initiated. I 've confirmed that there is no regulation that states that a creditor is required to report this & am asking that NMAC simply remove the mark as they did on -/-/-. I 've attached copies of the -/-/-, -/-/- & -/-/- credit file to reflect these changes.
