I deposited a check - -, 2016 at an ATM at Citibank in - CA. The check was my husband 's payroll check and less than $5000.00. The bank placed a hold on the check. My checking account was not overdrafted. I have overdraft protection. I have been banking with Citibank over 20 years. On Monday night when I called I asked what had happened and Citibank could not tell me nor would the funds be released. To my knowledge the funds have not been released. When I called on Monday night Citibank told me the check that I deposited had not been sent to them from the branch.
