I have a 2nd mortgage with Nationstar Mortgage. My first was refinanced in 2014. I have been trying to refinance or modify this one for 2 years. Nationstar keeps telling me that the investor does n't participate in modifications and is n't willing to refinance. They refuse to help me or tell me who the investor is. Meanwhile, I have n't made a payment in 2 years and my credit is taking a hit every month. I 've been denied loans, credit, housing and jobs because of how this is showing up on my credit report. I 'd think the investor would like to get something rather than nothing. But, not one of the 4 people who have serviced my loan during this time has helped.
