My current mortgage co. Freedom Mortgage, called and offered a refinance, but after I TOLD them my wife had an open credit fraud case they stated they could n't run either of our credit reports. We agreed on a recorded phone call I would consider a refinance in a few months. The next day a title co. called me regarding a refinance with Freedom mortgage. Also, when I called the Freedom mortgage loan officer he told me he ran my credit after an agreement I would not consider opening a refinance with them.
