JPMorgan Chase & Co. Credit card department,
Chase owes me a credit balance of over $26000.00. I am getting very frustrated with them because every time I call, I get a different answer and keep getting transferred around. I asked to speak to the appropriate dept. to get my refund and they advise me that there is no dept. that I can speak to over the phone and that they 're only available in writing. They also told me that the check should take no more than seven business days. The request was received a week ago from today, or at least that 's when I called to put in the request. Unless, of course, they do n't have their facts straight and say they have no record of it. I just want my money back from the merchant credits I finally received due to fraud. This is not an overpayment, so they have no way of taking a loss to the business. These are credits from the merchant or Chase that are permanent. Therefore, there should n't need to be all this non sense of research. When I called last night, I was told the refund check was sent out. When I called today, I was told that the request is still under review. I call again and they tell me that it 's going to take an additional four days of research. They also mention that my account was closed due to bank policy, which I am aware of. I am not sure why they keep telling me that when I call since I tell them that I am calling about a balance refund check, I did n't mention anything about my account being closed.
