JPMorgan Chase & Co. Credit card department,
In -, I opened a " healthcare '' acct with Chase with promotional financing. They closed that portion of their business in -, I believe. In -, I managed to finally pay off the entire amount before the end of my " promotion. '' A few months later, I was cleaning my office and found my very first statement from that account. I went online to look at the rest of my statements and could only go back to - -. I then asked repeatedly for the statements from - - - and then from - - -. I received copies of the missing statements. Later I received " copies '' of my statements from - - -. Immediately my account was removed from online access. Well, I actually already had my statements from - - -. The statements I received from Chase were " different. '' So my promotional financing had been to " PAY OFF MY PROMOTIONAL PURCHASE BALANCE IN FULL BY THE PROMOTION E-P DATE TO AVOID PAYING ACCRUED DEFERRED INTEREST CHARGES. '' The " NEW '' copies no longer had the " promotional financing '' written on them because ... CHASE NEVER DEFERRED my interest thus it NEVER ACCRUED. So I ended up paying $1500.00 in interest, TWO E-TRA YEARS of payments approx $3600.00, & working extra hours while I was in school to make those payments. Well I would have actually been okay with Chase just refunding me the amounts and admitting their mistake, but then they decided to commit " FINANCIAL FRAUD. '' I made a complaint on - and their representative, - -, tried to tell me how I did not understand how the promotion worked. Well I consulted around and then noticed my paypal credit statement. SURPRISE!! I knew I was right. AMAZING how a - DOLLAR company would rather commit a Federal Crime, I believe the FBI label it as " WHITE COLLAR CRIME and FINANCIAL FRAUD '' instead of just admitting their mistake and paying the accidental overpayment.
