U.S. Bancorp Credit card department,
-/-/- I divorced - - -, she went on to open credit cards and loans in her name. One of the cards that she open was with US Bank, which she charged up to the sum of at least $15000.00. She failed to make payments to this institution and was turned over to their collections department. Since - - did n't make the payments they tried to get me to. I explained to them that we were no longer married and have n't been for several, the debt is not mine. I have sent them copies of my divorce papers and they still placed it on my credit report as a debt that I owe. I find this very unfair and would like it removed from my credit report. I ca n't get US Bank to do anything about this matter. I am hoping that you will be able to resolve this matter with me. It is the only bad mark on my credit report, it is hurting my chances of refinancing my home.
