I set up a 5 year CD for my granddaughter at CitiBank. Someone in the bank changed her Social Security number 2 years in. When it was time to cash in they would n't give me the interest of $140.00 because the Social Security number did n't match her name. They should n't have changed her number. They say they ca n't help me retrieve her money. Their mistake her loss. I want to file a complaint against them.
