Installment loan Problems when you are unable to pay New York
The attached company claims that the account will be removed on all pertinent credit reports - -. I stipulate that the account was opened in -, that it went into default the same year, was eventually paid in full in -, and that the company in question still not only maintains a balance of $1500.00, but that the account if legal would show a - balance. My dispute was challenged and a copy of the - - result is attached, with virtually no response or required documentation to maintain a negative trade line on my personal credit report. The item needs to be deleted as mandated under the 84-month rule with the Fair Credit Reporting Act. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, as mandated under Dodd-Frank has taken up consumer rights where FCRA and Fair Debt Collection Practices Act consumer rights are being violated.
