I am writing this letter because my consumer rights were violated by Ally Financial Services from misstating the balance due. I was a co-signer on my mother 's - -, when she purchased it -/-/-. -/-/-, my mother filed bankruptcy but still had the Chrysler. I found out about the bankruptcy from a family member. I 've never received any documentation from Ally stating such. I, checked my credit report and it showed payments still being made on the Chrysler even after my mother filed bankruptcy ; up until -/-/-. -/-/-, the account was charged off. Also, I noticed my - credit report had a balance of - for Ally and - and - had a balance of $0.00 so I disputed the balance with -. After the completion of my dispute, Ally changed the balance on - and - credit reports from a - balance
When I disputed the balance with Experian, Ally reposed the car from my mom place of residence. After the car was reposed by Ally, is when I received documentation from Ally about the car but nothing before the car was reposed. Since, I 've asked Ally for proof of the bill of sale and they have ignored my request. Sincerely, - - -
