Amex Credit card department,
I have had an American Express Card since 1979 and have been generally satisfied with their service until now. 10 days ago, I asked for a credit card balance transfer of $5000.00 to pay another credit card. AME- has not performed the transfer and does not intend to transfer the money for another week. Adding insult to injury, AME- will charge me a balance transfer fee of $150.00 for this " service '' I have complained to AME- to no avail.
