Amex Credit card department,
I could not make my credit payment to American Express for the full charge amount. I asked for a payment plan. I have been a card member, in excellent standing for eight years. I have paid, as agreed monthly. I was told via chat with AME- and via phone with AME- that this would not be reported to the credit agencies as unpaid. It was reported as unpaid the same month I applied for the payment program. My credit has declined significantly due to this.
