Credit reporting company's investigation investigation took too long
TransUnion Credit reporting department,
Credit reporting company's investigation Investigation took too long Arkansas
I wrote a dispute letter to TransUnion on - -, - notifying them that they were reporting inaccurate credit information on my report. This letter went unanswered. Therefore, I wrote another letter on - -, - to notify the credit bureau that my previous request for investigation had gone unanswered. As a courtesy I included a copy of my first letter as proof. I requested the item be removed as a proper investigation had not been conducted nor a timely response within 30 days as outlined in the FCRA sent to me. The FCRA states that if a credit bureau fails to conduct a reasonable investigation or respond to a request for investigation of a negative item, then they must remove the item from the consumer 's file. It is now - of - and no resolution of this issue has been made by TransUnion. The credit bureau, TransUnion, is in violation of the FCRA and should give this matter the immediate attention it deserves. This item should be removed from my credit file immediately.
