J.P.Morgan Chase sent me courtesy checks at 0 % intro for paying bills, etc. I called the - number to find out more. I was told I had a limit of approximately $1800.00 on credit or $1500.00 cash. I explained how in - took out a small loan of $3000.00 with a high fixed rate and looking to cut down the intrest. She took some information and went to a supervisor. She came back a few minuets later granting me as much as $3000.00 availability on their courtesy checks sent me in the mail. I told her I would be using one for near that amount that day - -, 2016. She assured I was good to go. I paid the loan. In today 's mail notice from J.P.Morgan Chase a stop payment on the check they are only good for $1500.00. I was on the phone an hour with them today -/-/2016. They do n't care just kept repeating over and over I did not have the credit to cover it. They had a record of my call and would not elaborate. - of the - - office was like a robot repeating it over and over. What kind of fool would after calling them attempt to cut a bum check? Now I must re establish the original loan, pay application fees on a new loan, and also a returned check fee. They assume absolutely No responsibility and told me to submit any returned check fee and perhaps they might pay that. A verbal contract form their representative agreed to by the supervisor at the time later not enforced at a substantial cost to me. They do not care.
