Bank of America Credit card department,
I HAVE TWICE DISPUTED A CHARGE ON MY CREDIT CARD. THE CHARGE WAS FRAUDULENT BASED ON - LAW. IT WAS A SCAM. BANK OF AMERICA SAID THE ONLY THING THEY COULD DO WAS FILE A BILLING DISPUTE, AND COULD DO NOTHING THAT INVOLVED LEGAL MATTERS. THE SECOND DISPUTE WENT TO ARBITRATION WHERE THE ARBITRATOR ( - ) FOUND IN FAVOR OF THE MERCHANT. I FIND IT ABSURD THAT THE CARD ISSUER WOULD BE AN UNBIASED THIRD PARTY ARBITRATOR BECAUSE THEY GET A PERCENTAGE OF THE TRANSACTION. BANK OF AMERICA NEVER SAID - WOULD BE THE ARBITRATOR. I FEEL THE WHOLE AFFAIR WAS HANDLED POORLY AND UNFAIRLY TOWARDS THE CONSUMER.
