Cottonwood Financial sent me a letter dated -/-/16 but they sent it to collections about 2 weeks later, I was never given an opportunity to make arrangements. I received a call from - - -, - of the reps called me a liar. I advised him that I am working with an attorney on several options that may include filing bankruptcy but its not my only which I told Cottonwood Financial and the collection. I do n't know why they sent me a letter dated -/-/16 but sent it to collections 2 weeks later. Why would they do that? The rep at - - - was very rude towards me because I told him I did not know if I could file bankruptcy, he tried to put words in my mouth. One of the options given to me is to pay the company back what I owe them which is $600.00 and I already gave them $120.00 so if they will accept the $470.00, I will mail them a money order to their corporate address in 3 weeks after this agreement is accepted. This situation is becoming unbearable at this point and I do not want to lose my job over this.
