Credit line increase/decrease Maryland
I called bank of america to inquier about a credit line increase. The rep assured me that it would not be a hard inquiry. She assured me 4 times and than a 5th time that there will not be a hard inquiry on my credit. I received an email from - 5 minutes later stating there was a hard inquiry on my credit report from bank of america. I called back and the next rep told me that there is always a hard hit and didnt know why the first rep told me. I requested to have the call pulled. The 3rd customer service rep said she would go ahead and see what could be done. Bank of America put a hard pull on my credit report after stating over and over again that it would not be a hard pull
