I took a cab ride with - on - -, 2015. I added my - credit card to my profile to pay for the ride. About a week ago I started receiving collection calls from " PayPal Credit/BillMeLater ''. I logged into my REGULAR NON-CREDIT PayPal account that I opened a few years prior and came to find out that they WITHOUT MY AUTHORIZATION opened a PayPal credit account in my name and charged the $60.00 - Ride to that account. I NEVER received ANY statements or cards in the mail. I NEVER got any calls before last week. I WAS NOT AWARE of any PayPal Credit account being opened NOR did I apply for one. All I did was take a cab home from the airport and THOUGHT I paid with my - card. Now, they are trying to say I owe them over $160.00 - I 'm guessing the extra $100.00 are late fees.
