JPMorgan Chase & Co. Credit card department,
I have applied twice for Amazon sponsored credit cards. The last - was from Chase. Both times after opening and purchasing on the accounts they have automatically enrolled me in paperless statements and by the time I actually get a paper bill ( calling them after email alerts on account ) I am charged late fees. I always pay my cards on time and usually in-full. I seriously believe this is a ploy ( since it has happened twice ) they are using to extort late fee payments out of customers. Both times they say the paperless option was chosen and it was not. I am familiar with the prompt screens they use for paperless and always say No Thanks. I believe they are using Paperless as the default no matter what you pick.
