As there was no correct answer, I failed the identity test and was denied credit. I have a - FICO score and have never been denied credit before in my life. I have called - - and Synchrony Bank. I have been transferred to numerous people, none of whom could help or even understand what I was talking about. I was transferred to the credit department and treated like I was a deadbeat. I have asked for a number at Corporate
I have checked my credit card reports and the information about my mortgage shows the correct date - - 2010. I also check my credit union and it too is correct. It is absolutely unacceptable for Synchrony Bank ... or any other financial institution ... to be using information to determine identity or credit worthiness without the proper support procedures put in place if such information is wrong. My credit report has been damaged due to denied credit and no one is taking any kind of accountability to assist in getting this erroneous information corrected.
