Amex Credit card department,
American Express are liars and extremly rude. They think they are above all credit cards. I have been trying to work out a deal for months and they refuse to make this horrible situation any easier for their customers. They hang up on you if you get upset or angry and they continue to raise your interest if you dont make a payment. Yet they wont work out a deal until you miss - payments. Then the minium payment goes up and they report to credit services and destroy your credit. They give you the wrong advice for how to handle your finances and not to mention the hold times for even reaching a customer service rep. If you have any debt with american express do everything you can to close your card or you wont ever be able to fix your credit score. They will do everything they can to charge you fees and insane intrest rates. Worst company ever! Wasted so much time and energy. Every rep tells you something different and they are all just liars.
