On - -, -, my - year old daughter who had no insurance coverage of her own at the time and was on my insurance, had a charge of $790.00 for labs related to a pregnancy that was not covered by my insurance. Her and my son-in-law failed to pay this and they received a bill at my address. After a couple of months of no payment, the collection company resent the bill to same address but with my name on it as the one to pay this. I called the collection company and told them this was not my responsibility, but was my son-in-laws and they removed my name. Yesterday ( -/-/- ) I received a bill from AMCA collection agency who it appers has purchased the old debt and now has sent me a bill trying to get me to pay this.
