Capital One Credit card department,
Made about $90.00 charges on Capital One credit card in - of -. I forgot that I had charged anything on the card, because this is my emergency card, and did n't pay until - of -, when I got the report that I had a 30 day past due account from my credit monitoring. I called, talked to the representative, offered to make $120.00 dollar payment to bring the account to $0.00 balance, she accepted. Evidently, she did not adjust off the less than $1.00 service fees that remained, nor did she tell me they were there, nor did she note anything on my account. She said it would take - to - statement cycles to show everything current. Still not correct in -, called back in, and they adjusted off service fees since payment in -, and was told that it would take - to - statement cycles to show everything current. Credit report as of - shows payments in - and - were 30 and 60 days late. Called back in - to get credit report fixed, and am told that they can fix -, but not -. Agent agreed that it was their fault, but said that she had already gone above and beyond what she was supposed to do and could do no more. I asked to be sent to someone who could resolve this for me, and she said she was the most senior person that I could talk to, but I could send a letter to their general correspondence address.
