After looking at PayPal 's website, which promised, " Send friends, family, or customers your personal PayPal.Me link wherever you talk to them - text, email, or post. They click the link and enter the amount - no cash, no checks, no awkwardness. '' It promised fast, easy transfer. What it did n't say was that the funds would be held by PayPal for 21 days. Had I known that PayPal would sit on the money for - WEEKS I would have asked for a check or cash. PayPal gives the sender the impression that money was delivered right away, and nothing could be a bigger lie.
