For many months now I have received automated calls to my number -, often twice daily from the Synchrony Bank requesting contact with - -. I am not - -, I do n't know anyone by that name. - - has never lived on my address. I received my phone number about two years ago from - - - Apparently it was a " recycled '' number and may at - time have been the number for the - family ; I also received many other calls intended for various members of the - family, but the Synchrony Bank calls are the most annoying ones. My attempts to discuss the matter with Synchrony Bank have failed because when I respond to a call, the automated response asks me for the account number or other identifying info. which I, of course, do not have. When I called the main number and finally was able to speak to a live person, I was transferred to - different departments and finally to the " Fraud Department ''. The connection with the " Fraud Department '' was so bad that I could not understand them and they could not understand me. At one point I was told that I have - accounts with the Bank. I tried unsuccessfully to inform them that I have never had any account or any other dealings with Synchrony Bank. I also have tried call blocking through - which gave me relief for - short time but then the Bank apparently switched to another number from which to call me. So, the calls continue. I would greatly appreciate if you could communicate with the bank in my behalf. I am - years old, have an outstanding credit record and feel I am being harassed by Synchrony Bank. My assumption that Synchrony Bank would eventually recognize that these calls are fruitless for them was mistaken.
