I filed a case with CFPB on -/-/15 ( case number - ) with Mariner Finance. The business stated in the complaint " Mariner Finance can confirm that - - 's account is paid in full and his paid document will be sent to him. '' I have received - bills from this company stating money is still owed and to mail payment. I checked my credit reports and they are reporting to - that I owe $180.00 and they have been charging monthly late fees of $30.00 per month. As promised in the prior case, they never sent me any documentation nor have I done any further business with this company yet they continue to charge me a monthly late fee and the first complaint stated they waived the final $24.00 due as a good faith gesture so I do not understand where this $180.00 came from when they stated account was closed and no money was owed.
