I received a call from someone trying to serve me paperwork on a debt, they left the contact information. I called the number I was provided - and spoke with - -. He verified my SS # and date of birth. He proceeded to tell me about some debt from 2011 that I owe $1400.00 on. He never informed me that this was an attempt to collect a debt. He stated to me that they are persuing legal action and going to get a judgement against me. I asked him several questions about the process. - did n't want to answer my questions and was rude in his response and tone. I tried to verify what address they had on file for me and the address was in a state I have never lived in. He said it didnt matter they would still get a judgement against me even if they dont have my correct address. I told him he didnt need to be rude to me as I was just asking him some questions
