Wells Fargo charged me fees that were unwarranted. We were in the process of relocating from - to - and in that process meant paying off my mortgages with them ... which I think contributed to their lack of response. When I was in the branch in -/-/- as we were finalizing the process for the sale of my home, I asked them to downgrade my account from the PMA to the basic. That did n't happen and since this was n't my primary account, I did n't check right away. Then as I was finalizing a payoff for another loan, which I made in the branch before the due date, received confirmation. I was then charged an overdraft for the automatic debit for an account that was paid off. When I went back to the branch, I was told that only the branch manager could waive fees but they were n't in the branch. I tried one more time at the same branch as well as another branch and both times the branch manager was unavailable. Then I received confirmation that I was in charge off. It felt like wells did everything via their processes to prevent a good customer experience.
