I obtained a credit card from US airways that became a Barclay card. There was an associated member fee that I did not pay due to the fact the card name was changed from us airways to Barclay and i did not realized the fact until late. the account was closed. I wanted to pay them whatever was due at the time of the account closure but they refused and keep adding an exorbitant fee each month on an closed account. I need you to help me find a fair solution to - parties. I want to pay what the money for the annual fee but I do not want either to fall victim of extorsion. I believe the fee should be around one hundred dollars but now they want $270.00 by early -.
