JPMorgan Chase Credit card department,
Chase credit card provides an interest free period with the upfront payment of a transaction fee. The terms page with expiration date of the zero interest is at the end of the statement after the disclosures page and separated from the the main part of the statement. The expiration date for the interest free period is changed to blank on the statement for the month the interest is charged. However a zero percent interest is still shown. The expiration date for another zero interest advance is shown below it which can be misinterpreted as the expiration date for all advances. On the following month 's statement the advance amount is then placed in a different location showing the new rate. This is after the rate is charged. The changing of location of the advance amount, the excluding of the end date, along with a different date for another advance can make it confusing as to exactly when the interest free period ends. Other less significant information is more clearly provided. I have not had this confusion with statements from any other credit card companies. Upon contacting Chase, an agent offered to refer me elsewhere to resolve the problem. Later he stated he was aware that those alternatives were of no use. He stated that interest charges were not disputable. Several of my questions to him about disputes were not answered clearly or directly or were responded to with ambiguous terms.
