We sold our house and paid off a second loan to Wells Fargo and although our loan was current and previous statements from them stated a zero balance due after each payment, they took $2500.00. in excess of the payoff amount. I feel they saw all the money coming in from the sale and decided to grab some extra. They could not provide a detailed explaination for this other than " interest is paid forward '' I want them to refund my money and want to stop them from this behavior.
