I do not know Improper contact or sharing of info Contacted me after I asked not to New Jersey

I got a call from Sunshine Credit Services debt collection agency at -. " - '' stated my name and phone number was " associated with an outstanding debt ''. I did not recognize the company that the person said I owed over $480.00. I asked to speak to a supervisor and I was not nice. I spoke to a - -.


They then said that they made an error. I asked them how they got my name and number and they said again that " They called this number in error '' Again, the opening conversation was " Is this - -? '' The person stated that I owed a company I have never heard of over - dollars. I am worried that I am a victim of identity theft and what if they called an elderly person who was intimidated? I am a - and see all the time the elderly being taken advantage of by callers that have " scams ''. Please follow up so this never happens to anyone else.
