Installment loan Taking out the loan or lease Louisiana
I had a loan with Republic Finance LLC whereas I owed $3000.00 from -/-/- to - -. The loan was for two years. In - - there was a hurricane and I asked the company could I delay paying them until - and they said yes. I had been paying them and if I ran into a problem, I would call them. They put me delinquent on -/-/- where as Republic agreed that I would pay them in - -, but on the credit report they stated the first delinquency was - not -. Tried to file a Judgment against me. I had called them prior to issuing the Judgment and told them that I was going to pay them off in - -. They said okay. They filed a lawsuit for a Judgment on - -, - but the Judgment did not go through because I answered them and said I was going to pay the loan off. They sent to the credit bureau that I was in collection and was never in collection, that I was $540.00 past due and I was not. Put down I had - 30 days late and - 60 days late to ruin
that I was going to pay them off in - -. They wanted a Judgment and since the Judgement did not happen, they put down I was in collection from - through - -. This was Republic Finance LLC, - -, Manager but they moved from the address. The address of the home office of Republic Finance is - LA -. - number -. The account # -. They have ruined my credit when I paid them off eight months before. Republic put down that I had 30 days past due on -, -, and - and 60 days past due on -, - and - and collections for -, - and -. Never received anything but the Judgment they tried to do. This was done to put a lien against my home. Did not try to work it out. The loan was $120.00 a month. When I did not pay on the due date, I paid the $10.00 late charge. Sent me a letter on -/-/- and filed lawsuit on -/-/-. On -/-/-, told them I was going to pay them off in -. On -/-/- paid $130.00 with check # -, -/-/- paid $130.00 with check # -, -/-/- paid $130.00 with check # - and on -/-/- paid $130.00 with check # -, therefore, I could not have the 30 days past due or the 60 day as stated by Republic. They told the credit bureau that I paid off the collection which was never in collection. This company did not care that I was going to pay off this loan and deliberately put incorrect information in the credit bureau to ruin my credit. Companies like Republic Finance , LLC should be investigated for the strategies used on consumer. I talked the District Manager several occasions but upheld what was done.
