Credit reporting company's investigation problem with statement of dispute
TransUnion Credit reporting department,
Credit reporting company's investigation Problem with statement of dispute Ohio
I have submitted a dispute - with TransUnion for a negative account that is listed - on my credit report. It is obvious that there is a mistake because of the matching information ( creditor, account number, individual account, installment account, secured, balance, date opened, pay status, date closed ) on both of these accounts. However, one of the accounts shows that the date opened is -/-/2012 and the date closed is -/-/2012 which, again, clearly show a mistake since an account ca n't be closed 2 days before it is ever opened! TransUnion supposedly has verified that the account information is correct and both accounts remain on my credit report. This is still inaccurate information and I do n't understand how it can be verified as correct - when it is obviously incorrect if for no other reason than the fact that the open/close dates on one of the accounts listed are not even possible! How can I get this removed if TransUnion claims that the accounts are verified and accurate?
