Amex Credit card department,
Regarding American Express Corporate Card for - -, card # -. Amex bills to me did n't indicate what specific merchant charges were unpaid for the balance pending. I needed to know that to determine what I had to pay vs - had to pay. Amex did n't provide the following information since - 2015:1 ) have I paid all the merchant charges2 ) what specific charges are unpaid that account for the remaining balanceI finally reached out to Amex contacts of -, bypassing Amex customer service, and got a spreadsheet that showed the specific - merchant charges that were unpaid by -, a -, - -, and - - charge. Clearly Amex had this information, and I would think any company that provides corporate card services needs to provide that information to the end consumer. I confirmed those were all charges I marked personal to - and I paid those in -. Afterwards there were only late fees pending, all merchant charges were paid. I was told there would n't be late fee on late fees and ask for somebody from Amex to contact me because I wanted to dispute the late fees. I would have paid all the fees if customer service had provided me the information I required. However on -/-/15, after waiting since - without anybody from Amex contacting me, I was charged another late charge on the pending late charges, identified as a delinquency charge. Amex is simply forcing me to pay their non-merchant related fabricated fees without providing any means to dispute them.
