Amex Credit card department,
I started using a new card with American Express called the Every Day card. I have been using their gold card since 2001 and paid on time. I always pay my bills at the first of the month and assumed that would be the due date for this card. Yesterday when I went online to make the payment, I noticed the due date had been on - - instead of - -. I had been charged a $27.00 late fee. I called the company and requested the fee be waived. They denied my request. I believe this request is reasonable and American Express has always been great to work with in the past on billing disputes etc.
