I had a US Bank Credit card for years, It had a limit of - and I used it for my business. I sold my business in - of this year and the company paid the credit card off. I then got a bill and I assumed it was some balance that didnt get in the original payoff so I sent it to the new owner and did n't hear anything. I got a bill the next month and called US bank and found out it was a renewal fee for the year. i told them I did n't want it anymore and they wrote it off and shut the account down. I then got my quarterly update from - - whom I have checking my credit and found US Bank had put a derogatory comment on my credit report and my - score went from - down to -. My - went down from - to -. My - went to - from -. Since I 've always had a good credit score and had never been late on any payments, I filed a complaint with US Bank. They wrote to me saying they investigated my case and decided it was reported correctly and no change would be given. This is not fair.
